Fuck Capitalism, Go Home: The TTRPG

A GM-optional Lasers & Feeling hack about contemporary anticapitalist struggle.

A long-gestating game idea sparked by a revisit of the season finale of PARTIZAN by Friends at the Table, and listening to Waypoint Radio for years. It was finally put to paper for the Fuck Capitalism, Go Home Jam, and it will be (hopefully) updated during the Fuck Capitalism Jam 2023 throughout June 2023.

Fuck Capitalism, Go Home is a hack of Lasers & Feelings by John Harper, licensed for use under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license.

It is heavily inspired by War in the Year 1424 of the Perfect Millennium by Austin Walker, a hack of War in the Year 3000 by Rufus Roswell with additional inspiration from Follow by Ben Robins and Fiasco by Jason Morningstar. It featured in the finale of the season of PARTIZAN by the actual play show Friends at the Table.

Fuck Capitalism, Go Home also takes inspiration from the belonging outside belonging framework detailed in Dream Askew & Dream Apart by Avery Alder and Benjamin Rosenbaum.

The title itself is borrowed from Waypoint Radio (Vice Gaming’s former video games podcast), as their long-running signoff.
