I wrote down these notes years ago:

A short Friends at the Table comic about the Millennium Break logo, as it appears in the ep. 24 of PARTIZAN. In the first frame we see the trio of characters (IIRC Gur Sevraq, Millie, and a third Player Character) from the front, from a low angle as they look up and discuss their organisation's logo and who could've put it there. In the second frame we see them from the back as they are dwarfed by a mural-sized crossed-through capital M.

• extremely my shit crossover version: it's the Disco Elysium flammable post-tribunal graffiti by Cindy the Skull, but it's the crossed-through M.
• Next Level: dialogue box of the game showing the characters discuss the logo, then Millie setting it on fire. Gur as Harry Du Bois and Millie as Kim Kitsuragi (or maybe the other way around)
• "We're leaving linear media, baybee!" Level: The psyche of Gur or Millie partitioned according to Beam Saber’s abilities and interjecting a la Disco Elysium

I spent most of the jam relistening to the Millennium Break arc (and then the following two as well). telling myself it was for research and for inspiration.

I had a grand old time, revisiting one of my absolute favourite Actual Play shows, and specifically a part of it where I feel like every member of the cast is firing in all their storytelling cylinders.

Therefore, I consider my time with the jam a kind of a success.

Despite the fact that I ended up spending almost more time on the visuals (futzing over that cover image) than on writing and narrative design. Which — even if it makes it seem effortless — a good Disco-like needs a lot of.

And this is far from a good one. Barely flash fiction length. It doesn't matter. This is a gift from myself to myself. (A very selfish Secret Samol, if you will. IYKYK — and if you do, thank you for being here.)
